Mid-Summer Classic… an All-Star Camp?

Many kids are wrapping up the 2014 youth baseball season, and many are reflecting saying, “wow that was awesome, does it have to end”? For many kids the excitement of the season is too short lived and as they see Major League Baseball ramping up, kids are sort of disappointed to see their season closing down!
The MLB all-star game is happening next month, July 15, 2014 at the Twins’ Target Field, this is the one and only “Mid-Summer Classic”! Kids and adults from around the country will join together and watch all the festivities that include a Home Run Derby, and, the Game itself! It seems that only a dream come true would be what it would take for kids to experience this in person.
I want to tell you about an event that has been created on a smaller scale, but sure to pack the same type of excitement – it is call the “All-Star Baseball Skills Camp”, in Zeeland, MI. This camp provides kids ages 7-14 with a tremendous opportunity to participate in a home run derby, along with competing in many different types of “skills challenges” all while learning and improving on their baseball skills in a FUN WAY!

If you are feeling adventurous and want to take a road trip to Michigan over the MLB all-star break (July 14 and 15) – make a stop at the glorious beaches of Holland, MI and drop your son off for a fantastic baseball experience.
This is a prenominal 2-day camp for on $60 – you cannot beat that! What a deal! The camp is instructed by many former and current college players and coaches from the West Michigan area. This is truly a diamond in the rough event, so come on out and enjoy it!
